Some meaningless facts about me

So, once again. My name is Michail Lubarskij. I was born in Soviet Union, in a Moscow suburb called Nagatino. On the photo below you may see the block of flats (the long one to the left), where I lived for almost 19 years. The building in the middle is my old school.

In 1993 I moved to Sweden and after some years of studying Swedish, English and computers I desided to join all three together and in 1997 started studying Computational Linguistics at Lunds University. Lund was a small and quite boring (according to me) town in the southern Sweden, not very far from Copenhagen.

However, after many years of living and studying Computational Linguistics I desided to change my life once again and turn myself into the area that has always fasinated me - networking. So, now I am finishing a course in Windows 2000 Network Administration, hoping to seatle at last.

Most of all I like travelling and as a part of it - visiting the caves around the world. Apart from travelling in the former Soviet Republics, such as the European part of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Estonia and Kazakhastan, I've been to Israel, Irland, Norway, Danmark, Poland, Cuba, Spain and Morocco.

My favorite music -

Russian:

Akvarium, DDT, Krematorij, Chaif, Kino, Zoopark, Voskresenje, Alisa, Jurij Visbor, Gorodnitckij, Ivasi and many other "KSP people" and of cause - Alexandr Vertinskij.

Other:

Dire Straits, R.E.M., Doors, Simon & Garfunkel, Queen, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Senead O'Connor, The Cranberries, Bob Dylan, Edith Piaf and Joan Baez.
Jazz: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Coleman Hawkins and Dexter Gordon, thanks to whom I began to understand jazz ("Around Midnight").
I also enjoy listening to panflute and hope to spend some time in Peru in the future.

My favorite movies right now:

Solaris, 8 1/2, Once Upon a Time in America, That Very Munhausen (by Mark Zakharov) and Delicatessen. The most astonishing film I've seen lately is Eraserhead by David Lunch.

On the list below you may see the courses I've been taken so far at Lunds University.
The Swedish name of the course is from Lunds University course catalog.

The English translation is not direct, but more och less explanatory. One unit corresponds to one week of studying, but feels like much longer :-).
